When will I get my bill?

You will receive your electric/water/sewer bill after mailing on the 15th of the month and it is due in the office 20 days thereafter. Your bill will be delinquent and you will receive a disconnect notice if the bill is not received in the office by the 20th day after billing (usually the 4th or 5th of the following month.) A penalty is charged on the bills not received in the office by the due date.

Your meter will be read date is the end of the month. The service charges on the bill are computed from the 15th to the 15th of the next month.

PAY IN PERSON

Customers can make payments using cash, check, or money order in person at the Village office, located at 22445 3rd Street, Trempealeau during normal business hours. Office Hours are Monday thru’ Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

There is also a drop box located outside the front door for after hour payments.  We ask that only payments being made by check or money order be placed in the drop box.  Payments may also be mailed to PO Box 247, Trempealeau WI 54661

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS

Payments can also be make by automatic withdrawal from your checking or saving account.  To set up automatic withdrawal please stop by our office during normal businesss hours or call us for help to establish. You may complete the application form below and return to the office.

BUDGET BILLING

The budget amount is based on your previous 12-month usage. The average budget amount will be adjusted from time to time depending upon the actual usage. If you were using more electricity and water than you were budgeted for, the budget will increase. The budget will decrease if you were using less than the budgeted amount. This is free service provided by Trempealeau Municipal Utilities. To qualify for the budget plan and to remain on the budget plan your account must be current.

PROMPT PAYMENT PROVISION

A penalty charge will be added to bills not paid within 20 days from date of issuance. This charge is applicable to all customers.
