Village Service Fee Schedule

All of the following fees must be paid up front before any service is provided. Any fee paid shall be non-refundable:

Duplex Residential Building Permit $800.00 + $50.00 zoning review = $850.00
Multi-Family Residential Building Permit, State Inspector required and proof furnished to the Village $100.00 per unit + $50.00 zoning review
Commercial Building Permit (Principal Structure), State Inspector required and proof furnished to the Village $200.00 + $50.00 zoning review = $250.00
Industrial Building Permit (Principal Structure) $200.00 + $50.00 zoning review = $250.00
Decks, Garages or Other Accessory Structures $75.00 per structure (no zoning review fee)
Building Addition $150.00 per structure (no zoning review fee)
Demolition Permit $15.00 per structure
Public Site Fee (Parkland/Greenspace), required for each new residential unit built in Trempealeau for the purpose of developing and maintaining parkland and other Village greenspace. $400.00 per new residential unit (1 & 2 family)

$250.00 per new residential unit (8 or more family)

Public Works and Street Personnel Time $75.00 per hour
Public Works and Street Machine Use $50.00 per hour for each machine used + fuel costs
Purchase of Various Materials Village Purchase Price + 5%
Village Fax Machine Use $1.00 per page, per call
Village Copy Machine Use $.25 per page
Use of Village Attorney $10.00 plus time billed by attorney
Conceptual Plat Review and/or Preliminary Plat Review and/or Planned Residential Development Review (1st review and then each separate review if necessary following a free 2nd review) $100.00 + $5.00 per unit + Zoning Review
Plat Review & Approval (1st review and then each separate review if necessary following a free 2nd review $250.00 + $5.00 per new unit (no zoning review)
Final Plat Review & Approval No charge if no change from original Plat Review, otherwise refer to Plat Review & Approval
Site Plan Review or Architectural Review $100.00 per site + $50.00 zoning review = $150.00
Outdoor Amplified Music or Concert Permit $25.00 per concert
Temporary Street Closing Permit $25.00 per street
Street or Alley Closing $800.00 + $50.00 CSM Review + all attorney fees
Alley Improvements shall be borne by the adjacent property owner either through special assessment or through direct payment from benefiting property owners.  100% of all alley improvement costs in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Districts shall be borne by adjacent property owners.  50% of all alley improvement costs in the Downtown Historic Commercial District shall be borne by the adjacent property owners
Developer to Pay for all new Development Costs including, but not limited to: Village Engineering & Engineering Reviews;

Fully Developed Streets per Village Specs;

All Sewer, Water, Stormwater Facility Costs;

All Survey and Subdivision Costs;

All Electric Costs as Specified by the Village & PSC;

All Village Attorney Fees;

All Grading;

All Sidewalk Improvements;

All Signage;

All Required Landscaping;

All Other Costs Related To Development, thus The Village Shall Not Be Responsible for Any Costs;

All Service Fees Must Be Paid Before Development Occurs.
