Trails & Biking

Biking trails in Wisconsin seem to draw people to the outdoors. The Village of Trempealeau is blessed to be home of some great Wisconsin bike trails.  The Great River Road offers biking opportunities along its 250-mile length and through 33 communities. Adjacent biking trails, the Great River Road itself, and adjoining country roads all offer outstanding Wisconsin biking. Every year during Catfish Days, the Trempealeau County Bike Club holds the Trempealeau Catfish 50 Tour. Everyone is encouraged to participate!

In addition to our outstanding selection of Wisconsin bike trails, Trempealeau is home to some great hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing trails. Perrot State Park is a hiking and cross-country skiing paradise.  The park has more than 12 miles of hiking trails, with many of them working up and around Brady’s Bluff, allowing hikers to gain access to the magnificent views of the Mississippi River valley at Trempealeau. For skiers, more than 9 miles of trails are groomed for cross county skiing in the winter. Snowshoeing is available at the park, as well.

The best biking trails in Wisconsin, scenic hiking, amazing cross country skiing, and endless snowshoeing opportunities are right here in Trempealeau!
