POP-UP FOOD SHELF AVAILABLE IN THE VILLAGE COMMUNITY CENTER

As we enter the Holiday Season we hope you find some worth in the “Be Thankful” Calendar below.  Even if you are not able to place item that is suggested maybe you have other non-perishable goods in your pantry you can donate.  Other popular items are pet food & supplies and personal hygiene supplies. PLEASE – no opened packages, non-perishable foods or used items (such as clothing).  We are so grateful to all our donors that continue to make this resource available to our Community members.
Our pop-up food shelf has become a fixture!
Our Food Pantry Donations have been made available to anyone in the Village that needs and can be found located inside the entry way to the Community Center at 24455 Third Street. Popular items for donation are Cereal, Pasta, Pasta sauce, single serve items, quick and easy ready snacks and meals, canned soup, canned chicken, personal/household items and pet items.
A thank you note to our generous community members …. and some suggestions of things that may be in need. It is wonderful to see this is making a difference. THANK YOU!!!

Our generous Community brings donations from many sources: –

Sacred Parish CCD Class and their collected items for our food shelf.

GET Girl Scout Troop 7854 led by Lisa Engel. This was as a result of a joint effort by the Library and        the Troop providing Halloween costumes for anyone who needed one. Those who participated paid          it forward by bringing in some food items for the Village Hall Food Pantry.
