Voter Information Mailer sent by Wisconsin Elections Commission

On September 1, 2020, the Wisconsin Elections Commission sent an informational mailer regarding voting options to 2.6 million registered voters across the state. The Commission determined that all registered voters who did not have an active request on file for the November General Election as of early June would receive the mailer.  The Village of Trempealeau has over 200 active absentee ballot requests on file which is now creating confusion for our voters since many were applied for after the Wisconsin Elections Commission data was collected.

To verify the status of your voter registration and any request for absentee ballot you have, you may check at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/  under My Voter Information.

If you have any other concerns or questions about this mailer, please do not hesitate to contact the Wisconsin Elections Commission at 1-866-868-3947 or Village Clerk Kathy Peterson at 608-534-6434 or email clerk@trempealeauwi.com .
